Maxxis Tyres and Liam Everts have announced their collaboration with the 15-year-old Belgian starlet inking a tyre deal for his EMX125 2020 season.

Maxxis began its partnership of MXGP in 2019, achieving several substantial victories such as Mattia Guadagniniā€™s success in the European and Junior World Championship in the 125cc categories, taking the championship title in both series. In the enduro scene, 2019 World EnduroGP and E1 champion Brad Freeman also rode on Maxxisā€™ new MaxxEnduro tyre which is rapidly becoming available to buy across Europe.

ā€œIn this upcoming season we will put our trust in Maxxis Tyres,” said Liam. ā€œMaxxis approached us with a great opportunity, and once I tested the different tyres across a range of tracks in different weather, I was pleasantly surprised about almost every aspect of the tyres and the company too. So we made the call to close this amazing deal with Maxxis.ā€

Liam Everts will ride in the EMX125 Championship in 2020, using the range of Maxxis MaxxCross tyres currently comprising of the MX-SM sand tyre and the MX-ST mid-soft terrain tyre.

It’s good to see that Maxxis are still investing in motocross careers. The firm recently announced that it would not be sponsoring the British motocross championship in 2020. It will be the first time in 18 years that Maxxis will be absent as the title sponsor of the premier motocross championship in the UK.
