Steven Lenoir took to social media this weekend to show his fans the gnarly injury to his right forearm. And it’s not a pretty sight!
Lenoir was at Lyng for round two of the Maxxis British Motocross when an off led to a more than average gash in his arm.
Initially Lenoir added the image to his Twitter feed and later he took to Facebook to explain what had happen. We’ve used Google Translate below and kept the original for those of you that speak/read French.

J’ai fais une petite glissade de l’avant dans un virage dans le sable et il devait y avoir un silex ou autre. Mon bras comme vous avez vu c’est complètement ouvert et profondément. Le muscle a été touché aussi mais par chance il aurait protéger mes tendons on espère tous on le saura après l’opération. Donc je dois me faire opérer par un spécialiste pour nettoyer tout le sable d’une part ainsi que ” réparer ” mon muscle et les chirurgiens espère pouvoir refermer … Sinon ça sera quelque jours d’attente et une greffe de peau … Je croise les doigts. J’ai eu quand même assez peur hier au terrain car j’étais entrain de me “vider”. J’espère pouvoir être de retour rapidement et continuer la bonne dynamique sur laquelle j’étais depuis le début de saison. Certaine personne ont osé me dire que je jouais sur Photoshop je trouve ça pitoyable et ma vie et bien plus intéressante que ça.. quelle humour!! Enfin bref j’espère de bonne nouvelle rapidement a bientôt Steven
