“The first race couldn’t have gone any better, I got the holeshot and lead the race start to finish. I knew I had some really good talent behind me but I focused on myself and making sure I didn’t make any costly mistakes. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole race and to have the crowd cheering you on there is no better feeling.

“I got another good start in the second race and was up the front couple of positions for the first couple of laps. Then I got severe cramp in my left hand for some unknown reason causing me to slow down and drop back to ninth position.

“Words canā€™t describe what that first moto win meant to me and the whole team. Itā€™s something i’ve dreamt of ever since I started riding when I was a kid and to prove to everyone I have the speed and ability to do so itā€™s honestly the best feeling in the world.”
