Cumbrian rider Brad Todd ran in second for most of the final MXGB MX1 race at Canada Heights yesterday before fading back to eighth but the privateer is happy with his work.

We caught up with Todd post-race to chat about how his day went:

“It was a solid weekend again for myself, but of a poor performance in race one resulted in a ninth so I struggled a bit,” explained Todd.

“The second race was the best one yet, I was in second place for the majority of the race before I got tired and faded back to eighth, so that’s just something I will have to work on fitness-wise.

“The racing pace was at a new intensity for me, but Iā€™m over the moon with the speed for the time I was up front for, so I have something to work on for the next one.

“Finishing up eighth overall on the day is something I’m very happy with.”
