Crendon Fastrack Honda squad has signed up Jay Hague for a second successive year to contest the major UK MX2 championships in 2022.

After a great rookie season for the team with podium finishes in the British championship and MX Nationals this year, heā€™ll now be armed with the brand new 2022 Honda CRF250R.
Ā
Backed by one of the UKā€™s top timber engineers Crendon, Hague once again joins British champion Tommy Searle and Jake Nicholls in the MX1 class as the team enters its 11th year in professional British motocross. The team is the most respected and highest-profile team in the UK and is run by triple world 500 champion Dave Thorpe.

Former British youth champion Hague, who lives in County Durham, was mentored by Thorpe in 2021 and quickly became a contender for podium finishes at every round. The 22-year-old Hague ended the season with a strong runner-up spot in the final British championship round ā€“ his first ever overall podium in the premier series – and is now keen to get to grips with the new bike.

ā€œJay never gives up,’ said Team Manager Dave Thorpe. “He always tries his best and has showed what he can do this year. And to end the season with second overall is a great way to go into the winter testing period.

“Our goal is always to be the dominant team in British championship racing and we definitely have everything in place to achieve that again in 2022. With Tommy and Jake on the Honda CRF450R and Jay on the all-new 2022 CRF250R, I know we will have the best machines on the track. With our team of mechanics and technical partners and backers, everything is in place for the Crendon Fastrack Honda team to reach new heights next season.”
