Hitachi ASA KTM UK’s Conrad Mewse is the 2018 MX2 British Motocross Champion after securing 43 points today at the final round of the 2018 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship at Lyng.

Mewse finished his British campaign on 285 points to head off Buildbase Honda’s Josh Gilbert who finished 15 points back – REVO Husqvarna’s Mel Pocock rounded out the MX2 top three for 2018.

The 20-year-old Brit has led at every stage of the 2018 British championship and over the seven rounds won nine motos and four overall victories to take his first British championship title.
