The latest injury update for Zach Osborne is not a good one, with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing announcing today that he is out for the remainder of the 2018 Pro Motocross season.
Osborne was involved in a first turn pile-up during the start of the second race at the Thunder Valley National last weekend.
He sustained a shoulder injury, torn labrum, which will require surgery and with a recovery time extending beyond the motocross season the team will need to wait until he’s on a 450 before they see him race again.
“I am extremely bummed to say the least,” said the two-time 250SX East Champion. “This fourth consecutive championship aboard the FC 250 was one that I wanted bad.
“Itās almost surreal that it has come to an end, but I know everything happens for a reason. Iāll use this time to prepare mentally and physically for the challenge of my first year in the 450 class.
“I am excited to get my recovery started and move onto the next step of my career!”
