RJ Hampshire was running a Garmin VIRB 360 at last weekend’s RedBud National and it captured not only a massive and brutal-looking crash but also the incredibly high g-forces riders are subjected to when things go south.
Watch as RJ Hampshire and several other riders go down in the first turn of the second 250 moto at RedBud for the seventh round of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship…and make sure you check out the g-forces displayed on the readout. I was able to pause it at one point to show 8.8G.
Impressively they get up and check that their fellow riders are okay ā brothers in arms.
