We touched on this a couple of weeks ago in our interview with RHL Activities main man Gareth Hockey but now there’s been an official announcement and – *insert fanfare* – next year we’ll see an ACU British Women’s Motocross Championship.

RHL Activities will introduce WMX Adult and 85cc classes that will run over a number of rounds although dates and venues are still to be confirmed.

“We are ecstatic to bring a British WMX Championship to the UK in 2021,” said Hockey. “It’s important to recognise the female riders within the sport and we feel we can work with the riders to progress their careers into the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship.”
