The VMXMOTO.COM/Malin KTM pilot, Martin Barr has taken to his blog to announce his ride for the 2014 season.

Barr had a disrupted 2013 season after getting a late ride and then injuring himself at round one of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship. But according to his blog post, 2014 will get a much better start after agreeing a deal to stay with the VMXMOTO.COM/Malin KTM team.

“I’m very happy to announce I have struck another deal with VMXMOTO.COM/Malin KTM for the 2014 season,” says Barr. “Everything gelled in the 2013 season for the VMXMOTO.COM/NuttTravel camp, apart from my injury at round one of the British Championship. At least now I have everything in place and I know what I am training for this winter, rather than last year where I had no ride until January.”

Barr is keeping things in the family: “Everyone worked well together and I’m really pleased to have my dad still with me, tuning my engines and prepping my bikes”

Barr added: “Graeme Vigors from VMX has showed his support again and stood by me. Nick Glackin has also come on board, who will be a great help within the team next year. I’ll be competing in the MX2 British and Red Bull Pro National Championships. I can’t wait to give it my all next season.”
