Every November, thousands of two-wheel fans and their families make the winter-season pilgrimage to Motorcycle Live to see the next year’s new models in the UK for the first time – and dirt bike fans won’t be disappointed.

The world’s leading manufacturers will be showcasing all the latest machinery, while off-road riding features and appearances from star MX racers will keep you entertained.

The Yamaha Off Road Experience is back for 2014, offering free 20-minute sessions on a specially designed indoor motocross circuit. Catering for all levels of riding experience (basic clutch control is required), chief instructor and former MXGP rider Barry Johnson and his team will guide participants through the techniques needed, making sure it is an experience to remember.

Kids can also get a first taste of off-road riding at the Arenacross Youth MX Experience, aimed at teaching youngsters to ride in a safe environment. A wide selection of starter bikes means the next generation of motorcyclists from the age of five up to 12 years old can learn the basics of machine control – all for free. Participants will also receive a free child’s ticket to an Arenacross Championship round of your choice in 2015.

Also making a return to Motorcycle Live is the ACU Try Trials feature, which in conjunction with BUMPY (Birstall Urban Motorcycle Project for Youth) will be offering visitors the chance to try out the impressive sport of trials in a free 15-minute session. Participants will receive direction and guidance from an ACU-certified instructor to get to grips with the basics of this highly-skilled discipline. Trials riding demonstrations by the ACU coaches will also take place daily with times to be confirmed.

Wednesday 26 November is Adventure Day, when the Q&A slots on the main stage will be taken over by KTM, BMW, Suzuki and Kawasaki. Each manufacturer will be showing off their latest off-road models and welcoming special guest stars from the worlds of MX and adventure bike riding.

In addition to the off-road attractions, visitors get a jam-packed day of entertainment with Classic and Custom Xtreme zones, the Crank’d live action stunt show, the Behind Bars cinema experience, more than nine opportunities to ride a bike, loads of retail stands to bag a bargain, the chance to meet and greet their racing heroes and the ever-popular Blackhorse stage in the British Eurosport Entertainment Zone – which will again feature non-stop action every day with live chats, games and quiz shows.
