In an injury defined season in all classes GL12 Racing’s Lewis Gregory will sadly not line up in Lommel where he finished second in 2014.

Following the advice of the FIM doctors the rider must get expert diagnosis on the spinal injury that is giving him respiratory distress. Lewis’ long term health is paramount and even though – Lewis being Lewis – he was prepared to ride, GL12 Racing have pulled his entry from the event.

The good news for Lewis is that GL12 Racing have confirmed that following successful treatment on the injury they will continue their support of him into the 2016 season.

The team commented: “Everyone here thanks Lewis for his efforts this year and wish him a full recovery so we can look forward to a successful 2016.”

The team also announced today that Brad Anderson will ride in the deep sand of Lommel. Following on from his impressive two rides in Loket Ando will substitute for the injured Lewis Gregory for GL12 Yamaha Racing.

We’re sure all the travelling Brits will get behind Brad and wish Lewis well for 2016.
