Kurt Nicoll – four-time world 500cc vice-champion, 1994 Motocross des Nations winner, two-time AMA supermoto champion and 2012 AMA Vet Racer of the Year – launches his own California ride holiday business this autumn.
Kurt Nicoll’s Champion MX Vacations offers customers a complete package so all you need to do is fly in and ride a selection of fully-prepped new model machines.
Based in Temecula, the home of American motocross, you’ll have access to California’s finest practice facilities and be located just a stone’s throw away from legendary industry big-hitters including Troy Lee Designs, Pro Circuit and FMF as well as all the factory Supercross teams.
Kurt, the former Director of Racing at KTM Sportmotorcycles and more recently Vice President of Global Touring for Nitro Circus Live, is embracing this latest challenge in his long and successful career in off-road motorsports.
“I just love riding,” he says. “I still ride motocross because I still enjoy motocross more than anything but I was spending more and more time behind a desk, not behind a set of handlebars.
“Launching my own holiday company will allow me to hang out with fellow riders – like-minded people who share my passion for motocross – and I’ll also get to ride with fellow enthusiasts at California’s best tracks.”
