Suzuki are back to full strength for the sixth round of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship at Talavera de la Reina this weekend with Kevin Strijbos set for his first start since the second fixture of the year in Thailand.

The 28 year old won both motos at Jauer for the second meeting of the ADAC MX Masters last weekend and has decided to join the GP paddock once more, five weeks after he underwent surgery to correct a troublesome right wrist.

“I’m ready to try,” the Belgian says. “I had a good weekend in Germany and my wrist is still painful but not any more than it was before the weekend, so that’s good. I’ve been riding the bike quite a bit and I think its time to get back into Grand Prix.

“Realistically my goal has to be to hope for a top 10 finish this weekend and then we will have another week to improve and get better before going to England.”

Strijbos, who finished third in the 2014 MXGP series on the RM-Z450, had been dealing with an inflamed and painful right wrist since the pre-season period.
