Matiss Karro makes his second attempt to get back to racing grands prix this weekend at the 12th round of the MXGP World Championship.

The 24MX Lucas Oil Honda rider had previously tried to come back to the series at the Spanish GP but the gnarly conditions proved too much for his elbow injury that he had sustained during training.

Good fortune has completely deserted the former British MX2 champion this season, but the 24MX crew say that Karro is now fully recovered from his torn left ACL and elbow injury.

The popular Latvian will join Priit Rätsep in Mantova aboard the 24MX Lucas Oil Honda CRF450R. DBR wish The Arrow well on his return to the MXGP fold.

Damon Graulus has undergone further medical assessment on the thumb injury he suffered in a start crash at Matterley Basin. It confirms a slightly torn ligament and a tiny fracture in the left thumb. The 21-year-old Belgian will be out for two weeks.
