The HIMX team are delighted to confirm the attendance of double World MX2 Champion Jeffrey Herlings who will ride at the Hawkstone International on the February 23 2014.
Herlings was scheduled to ride at the event in 2013 before the weather forced the event to be cancelled. Herlings will ride once again in 2014 for the official factory Red Bull KTM team.
Dutchman Jeffrey dominated the World Championship scene winning 15 of the 17 overall races missing two rounds due to injury and is eager to make his debut at the Hawkstone International in 2014.
The official Kawasaki Motors UK MX1 team, Oakleaf Kawasaki have confirmed their attendance at the race. This includes riders Shane Carless, and Priit Ratsep in the MX1 class and Gradie Featherstone and American Tyler Villopoto in the MX2 class, Tyler being the younger brother of US star Ryan. The team will be out in full force at the Hawkstone International on the February 23.
Race Secretary Gary Ford said “We are delighted that Jeffrey has made his commitment to us again at Hawkstone and we really hope this time all will be ok with the weather and we are able to showcase some of the World’s best riders. We are also pleased with so much interest from the UK teams and looking forward to hosting them at the track.”
