You just can’t keep a good man down. A matter of weeks after announcing that he was stepping away from racing, James Dunn is making a return to the sport he loves.

Following a run of injuries and a bout of glandular fever in 2016, Dunn made the decision to step away from racing just a few weeks ago.

However, he did say at the time that his “love for racing is still huge” and that he planned to return to race “selected events” later on this season.

It now looks like James will be given the chance to step in for Lewis Gregory at GL12 KTM Racing to compete in the EMX300 series, which kicks off this month in Teutschenthal, Germany.

We think it’s a great match and we’re looking forward to seeing what the talented #200 rider can do on the GL12 Racing KTM two-stroke beast.

Welcome back, James.
