Well, we were all excited for the Jeffrey Herlings vs MXGP tomorrow at the opening round of the Internazionali d’Italia MX. But our bubble has been burst with the news that ‘The Bullet’ is out with an injury.
The Red Bull KTM Factory rider suffered the stretching of a wrist tendon while training in Sardinia. Now back in the Netherlands, the MXGP rookie has been advised by doctors to rest, as a precaution.
It’s a blow for the opening round of the Italian series, but the MX1 class is still stacked and once we’re over the disappointment of no #84 on a 450 SX-F, there’s still going to be plenty of great racing.
