The gate’s getting ready to drop for the start of the International Dirt Bike Show and, with money-saving ticket options in place and a host of new features too, the decision for off-road enthusiasts to visit Stoneleigh this year really is a no-brainer.

The Classic and Evo/Twinshock sector is enjoying rapid growth and rising popularity. To satisfy this demand the show organisers will this year include an Evo/Twinshock feature in hall three and a Classic area in hall one. Over the weekend both areas will lead through to a fully enclosed and covered ‘Evoshock’ Moto Jumble with free-of-charge entrance. For anyone interested in taking a pitch the costs are minimal with prices set at just £45 for a 4x3m2 pitch and £22.50 for an additional 2x3m2, both plus VAT. The pitch itself is a basic floor-only site and goods sold must be restricted to parts, spares and hard accessories of the era up to – and including – the mid nineties. Strictly no modern-day or new kit like clothing, boots and helmets.

There’s no denying that, thanks to the current economic climate shows of all descriptions are suffering in terms of visitor attendance and it can be difficult for prospective visitors to justify parting with their hard-earned cash, no matter how keen they are about off-road. So this year for those dirt bike enthusiasts who like to be organised and book in advance, adult tickets will cost just £10 which represents a substantial saving of £5 over on-the-door prices. Other ticket options such as youth, senior, child, student and family will be reduced accordingly. What’s more, if those advance tickets are booked for the traditionally quieter opening day a further 50 per cent discount will be applied as ‘Thrifty Thursday’ will offer half price admission to all visitors. For an adult this means an entrance cost of just £5 with tickets booked in advance or £7.50 on-the-door to gain entry to Europe’s largest and the UK’s only dedicated off-road show.

There will be plenty of free-of-charge activities on offer throughout the four-day exhibition and with other considerations such as parking and visitor showguide also free, a family of four could enjoy a full-on day out mixing it with like-minded off-roaders, from just £10.

Advance tickets will go on sale mid-August. For further information, visit www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk or call the show team on 0844 800 6481.
