The Be Wiser Hawkstone International continue to sign up world motocross championship stars with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing the latest to confirm their attendance for the February 5 pre-season event.
Third in the world, Max Nagl will lead the team, with new team-mates Gautier Paulin and popular Brit Max Anstie also set to race at the famous circuit.
Max Nagl finished third in the 2016 MXGP standings and the German will be looking to fight for the championship once again this year. His new team-mate Gautier Paulin was forced to miss five rounds of the series last year due to injury, but was strong at the end of the season, helping Team France take another win in the Motocross of Nations in Italy at the end of September.
After a strong final year in MX2 Max Anstie steps up to the premier class this year on the Husqvarna FC450. “I am really looking forward to racing at the Be Wiser International at Hawkstone Park again,” said Anstie. “I love riding at home and it is a fantastic track. I’m feeling good so far with testing and have done a bit of riding on the 450. Things are positive and I can’t wait to get going with the season now.”
