MXGP returns to action this weekend, with the 16th round of 18 taking place at the Dutch TT Circuit in Assen, The Netherlands.
Fans of the Flying Dutchman, Jeffrey Herlings, will be pleased to see the former champion back on the line in MX2, which is bound to create an insane atmosphere in the grandstands.
Tim Gajser’s Slovenian following will also be on edge this weekend with the possibility that their 19-year-old rookie will be able to wrap up the title in MXGP.
How close is it? It’s a two horse race this weekend. If Tony Cairoli finishes with equal, or more, points than Gajser, the title will not be won. Gajser needs to finish in front of the eight-time champion for it to be won this weekend.
