The FIM has today announced the results of alcohol tests taken at the GPs in Mexico and Italy.

On April 1, 2017, alcohol tests were carried out by breath testing in Leon, Mexico and on April 15 in Pietramurata, Italy during the FIM MXGP/MX2 world championship events. The following riders were tested.

In Leon:

  • Maximilian Nagl – MXGP
  • Samuele Bernardini – MX2
  • Ivan Petrov – MX2
  • Iker Larranaga Olano – MX2

In Pietramurata:

  • Jose Butron – MXGP
  • Tim Gajser – MXGP
  • Lukas Neurauter – MXGP
  • Brent van Doninck – MX2
  • Pauls Jonass – MX2
  • Thomas Kjer Olsen – MX2

The threshold is equivalent to a blood concentration of 0.10 g/L and all the test results were negative.
