Practice is underway here at Valkenswaard as the FIM Motocross World Championship kicks off in Holland…
The opening round of this year’s motocross world championship is now underway at Valkenswaard, Holland. Although still quite chilly, strong spring sunshine has blessed the practice and pre-qualifying sessions.
A few British wildcards have made it in at the last minute and along with Tommy Searle, Jake Nicholls, Max Anstie and Elliott Banks-Browne we also have Jordan Booker mixing it up in MX2 along with Mel Pocock who’s standing in for his injured Monster Energy Yamaha team-mates.
In MX1 we have Shaun Simpson, Martin Barr, Alfie Smith and Nathan Parker doing the business as well as adopted Brits Matiss Karro, Marc de Reuver and Gert Krestinov.
Expect an update later after the day’s qualifying heats and opening WMX moto.
