Gautier Paulin finishes the second of a two-year contract with Honda at the end of the year and it is rumoured that the former Motocross of Nations winner will not renew terms despite finishing second in the 2015 premier class series.
There has also been some speculation that #21 will realise a long-standing ambition to attempt AMA competition in 2017. “The option with the US is open and I have always said how much I like riding supercross and on those good, wide tracks,” he commented. “My contract ends this year so if a good opportunity comes…I haven’t really decided yet because I have been focused on my body and getting back to shape. I cannot even really say if it is 50-50 because I just don’t know at the moment.”
