This past weekend, Saturday March 12, Gautier Paulin crashed while practicing at Lommel in Belgium and sustained a fractured vertebrate and a broken rib.

On the landing of a jump, his front wheel hit a soft spot of ground which stopped the bike, sending him over the bars with his bike landing on top of him.

He was immediately checked by local motocross specialist Dr. Claes and, after initial inspections determined that the fracture appeared stable, Gautier was permitted to return home. He will continue to see his local specialist in the coming days to continue the assessment of his condition and road to recovery.

Hopefully his recovery will go well and he’ll be on the start gate again soon. We’ll give you updates as we get them.
