A three-time British champion and arguably the top Swiss MXGP pilot are two of the latest Grand Prix stars to sign up for the 2017 Be Wiser Hawkstone International.
Wilvo Yamaha’s Shaun Simpson and Arnaud Tonus have agreed to race at the famous circuit in Shropshire, UK on February 5, Dirt Bike Rider can exclusively reveal. They’re the latest MXGP riders announced for the popular pre-season event.
This will be the British fans first chance to see their heroes in action in 2017 and offers a first look at Simmo, Tonus and Anstie on their new machines.
The Hawkstone International has a proud history, both in terms of races and in bringing in top riders for the highly-anticipated season opener, and this year’s event on February 5 is looking likely to be no exception. There’s already a stacked rider line-up with Gautier Paulin, Max Nagl, Max Anstie, Jake Nicholls, Jeremy Seewer, Kevin Strijbos, Hunter Lawrence, Bas Vaessen and Brad Anderson among the top riders set to race at the famous International early next month.
