Two-time Dakar king Toby Price has been airlifted to hospital for precautionary scans after crashing out of stage nine today.
The Red Bull KTM rider has been taken to hospital in Tabuk to get suspected arm injuries checked out and has had a broken collarbone confirmed after his fall at the 155km mark.
āToby Price has been taken to hospital in Tabuk for X-rays and has therefore been forced to exit the race prematurely due to his accident,” said an official statement.
The Australian had been in second place after eight stages and was well within distance of taking a third title.
