After recently announcing their revised February date, the organisers of the Hawkstone International announced last night the first team to officially sign up to compete at the February 8, 2015 event.

The Dyer & Butler KTM team have entered their two riders Steven Lenoir and Liam Knight. Frenchman Lenoir has had some very successful results racing in the British Championship over the last few years finishing in sixth place in the Maxxis British Motocross Championship this year – he secured eight podiums in the process – winning the final race of the season at Foxhill.

“Hawkstone is a good pre-season race for us all, it is a tough track but it is good to see where we are all at,” said Lenoir. “It will be my first race with the Dyer & Butler team and I am looking forward to getting back out racing. I am not going to America this year so I should be a lot more comfortable on the bike and really looking forward to it.”

Liam Knight commented: “I’m really looking forward to the Hawkstone International on the February 8, it’s one of the best tracks in the UK and with most of the British Championship rounds being sand tracks next year it will be good practice for us and to get a good base set up for the season.”

The support race for 2015 will be the opening round of the British Quad Championship.
