Ryan Dungey takes Mount Morris by storm to edge into a convincing lead in the AMA Nationals…

An emphatic double race win in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania places KTM’s Ryan Dungey in a commanding lead of the 450 class in the Lucas Oil AMA Nationals. Overcoming fast starting Mike Alessi in both points-paying motos the 2010 champ increases his points lead to 42 points over the Californian Moto Concepts rider who leapfrogs Jake Weimer and James Stewart in the series standings. The fourth round of the series is a particularly bad one for Office James who struggles to fifth in race one before sitting out of the second.

In the 250 class Eli Tomac takes the overall with a 2-1 scorecard beating Geico Honda team-mate Justin Barcia and KTM’s Ken Roczen. Series leader Blake Baggett hangs on to the red plate courtesy of solid 3-5 scores while double world champ Marvin Musquin takes fifth with a sixth and a fourth.
