David Knight could race a round of the Endurance World Championship this year.

Knighter has linked up with John McGuinness and Conor Cummins who are part of the Jackson Racing team.

The ever popular three-time world enduro champ has been testing at Monteblanco. “I am certainly looking forward to meeting up with the team in Spain this week and getting some laps on the bike,” Knight told Bike Sport News.

The Manxman says it’s a “great opportunity” and he hopes he can assist the team during the EWC season.

“I would like to think that I could be available to stand in for one of the riders if there is a clash with other events such as the Isle of Man TT,” added Knight.

Knight has spoken about the sport before so it’s not a complete surprise, saying on Twitter last year. “I fancy a bit of endurance road racing next year.” We’re looking forward to seeing how the big man gets on.
