Ade Collins takes a well-deserved win at the International Allstars Championship at Tir Prince Raceway…

With the Mayor of Rhyl watching on in amazement HM Plant Honda’s Ade Collins powers to an emphatic victory in the inaugural International Allstars Championship at Tir Prince Raceway on North Wales’ golden coast. The reigning British short track champ leads the four-lap final from start to finish beating Young guns Tom Woolley and Ben Baker across the line to make it a 450 Honda 1-2-3 around the half-mile circuit as Team Suzuki’s Tim Neave and Pete Boast round out the top five.

The racing is red hot all night and not even a heavy rain shower can cool things down although it does make the going super-slippery. With racers almost hitting 100 mph down the straights and not slowing down all that much around the corners the race fans who are mostly new to flat track – and indeed all off-road motorcycle sport – are suitably stunned and a grand night out is had by all.
