With a Kawasaki affiliation that stretches back to his time as a youth Team Green rider, Scotland’s Bryan Mackenzie is set to return to the fold in 2013 and is joined by a brace of Scottish Champions in the Pendrich Kawasaki team.

Riding the much praised KX250F in MX2 class at the Maxxis British Championship and the Red Bull Pro Nationals, Bryan is joined by two new team mates, Ross Rutherford and Mark Perfect, both competing in the cut and thrust of the MX1 class on the awesome KX450F.

Taking the Scottish MX1 title for the past four seasons, Rutherford is set to make a big impression in the new team set up and, alongside 2012 Scottish Nationals MX2 Champion, Perfect, the team are confident they have the machinery, riders and the experience to challenge for further Championship success.

Despite what seemed like a turbulent season in 2012, Mackenzie held his nerve and secured a strong third place in the Maxxis British Championship, something that Racing Coordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK, Ross Burridge, feels is a good omen.

“There’s no question Bryan can take the pressure on and off the track and his race craft is sharper than ever. To have him along with Ross and Mark in MX1 for 2013 is great news. The team have a very professional setup, and are keen to impress.”

Team boss of Pendrich Kawasaki, Mark Perfect, feels that the new set-up will be quick to establish itself as part of the Kawasaki motocross landscape saying: “Pendrich are delighted to be a supported Kawasaki team for 2013 and in the early days of association with Kawasaki it is very encouraging to the riders, mechanics and general staff of the team the level of professionalism and support Kawasaki provide.

Pendrich Kawasaki motocross team will endeavour to produce the best possible results by producing fit riders, fast bikes and a professional paddock presence.”
