Boost Energy become title sponsor of Steve Turner’s KTM team as Proppa.com go into liquidation…
Following the shock closure of online vehicle accessories company Proppa.com earlier this week Boost Drinks have agreed to increase their involvement with Steve Turner’s KTM team and will take over as title sponsor for the remainder of the season. The team will now be known as Boost Energy KTM.
“It’s been a funny couple of days,” says team owner and tea boy Steve Turner. “On Sunday we took our first British Championship win and on Monday we found out our title sponsor had gone into liquidation. These are really tough times and Proppa.com has, like many other businesses suffered from cash flow issues as a result of an ongoing downturn in retail sales. The team is grateful that Boost have stepped. They’re a great company with a great brand which fits perfectly in this arena and we are looking forward to delivering the same level of exposure for Boost as we did for Proppa.”
The guys at Boost are equally pumped with Managing Director Simon Gray saying, “we were happy to help out after hearing about the unfortunate circumstances earlier this week. The team continues to deliver great brand awareness for its sponsors and as Title Sponsor we will be looking forward to receiving the lion’s share of the coverage throughout the remainder of the season.”
