Apico raising funds for Air Ambulance charity – supporting Weston Beach Race

Apico Factory Racing will continue their involvement with the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM as British firm will once again provide a hydration station and with it support the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

The Apico Hydration Station – which has become an integral part of the promenade set-up – offers a free bottle of water for competitors and race-goers while providing the opportunity to donate to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. Thanks to Apico Factory Racing’s collaboration with Ice Valley Water, the two brands have raised 1000s of pounds for the charity in the last few years. It’s worth noting that the air ambulance relies solely on public donations.

Not only that, they are raising money for a very important cause and we are looking forward to seeing them again on the beach this October. Competitors and race-goers are welcome to visit the Apico Factory Racing stand where the brand’s experienced staff will be on-hand to discuss Apico’s products, in detail.

“We’re looking forward to the fourth year at the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race with Ice Valley Water and the Apico Hydration Station,” said Dylan Brown, Director of Apico. “We will be once again encouraging spectators and competitors to come along the promenade to pick up a bottle of water, and leave a donation should they wish to our chosen charity – the Great Western Air Ambulance, who we will give all proceeds to.

I know a good few riders that have benefitted from the Air Ambulance over the years and without it I wouldn’t like to think what could have happened. It’s just a way for us to give back and say thank you on behalf of the industry.”
