A new range of uber-cool, low-cost and electrically-powered Amped balance bikes are now available in the UK and we’ve got one to give away to a lucky TMX/DBR reader.
The innovative AMPED A10 bridges the gap between standard balance bikes and motorcycles, offering the perfect way to introduce the skills of throttle control and balance to children aged from two to six years.
The Amped A10 uses a 100W motor, powered by an 18V IBV Lithium battery, capable of a top speed of around 8-10mph, with the motor producing 4.4ft-lb of torque. The pace of the A10 is around the same as that of a fast walk and so manageable for supervising parents.
The A10 weighs in at just 8.6kg, has a small-person, user-friendly seat height of 400mm and charging takes between five and six hours between rides.
Available in a variety of popular colours including red, blue, green, pink and black at a recommended retail price of £399.
To win this competition we need you to answer a really simple question before the competition deadline.
However, let us warn you that if you enter online you’ll also need to insert a special code (found on page 35 of TMX, issues 2205 or 2206) to prove that you’re an actual reader of TMX and not just a robot.**

The first prize is a brand-new Amped A10 worth £399.00 in the colour of the winner’s choice – black, blue, pink, red or green. It will be delivered boxed, and directly to the winner to one address in mainland UK. There are also two runner-up prizes of a neat Amped hoodie and tee-shirt set (sizes subject to availability).
If you’re not lucky enough to win, then there’s still time to make Christmas a special two-wheeling one for the younger members of the family by ordering a trick Amped A10 from your local Dualways stockist. Visit www.dualways.com for dealer contact details or call 01623 708607 for information.
* Not this actual Amped A10 but one just like it in a colour of your choice. ** Apologies to any TMX readers who are indeed robots – that was really insensitive of us and we’ll endeavour not to belittle your metallic selves ever again.
