The opening round of the Bridgestone British Masters scheduled for Hawkstone Park this weekend is the latest victim of the Beast from the East.
The decision to postpone the event until later in the year was taken following a circuit inspection this morning.
“The trackās frozen at the moment,” said Off-road Motorsports UK Director John Holden, “and with more bad weather forecast we have no choice. Itās not just conditions at Hawkstone we have to take into account ā riders have to get here and the bad conditions are affecting most of the country.”
John confirmed that the event will be rescheduled as soon as Hawkstone Park can confirm a free date.
The six-round series will now kick off at Culham on April 28-29.
