The Festival of Legends takes place this weekend (September 10/11) at Hawkstone Park.

The event, which is bringing together a host of MX big-hitters from the ’60s right through to the ’90s, is new to the calendar and run by Cumbria Twinshock.

The format lays on two days of racing for Twin-shock, 125, 250 and 500cc Evolution and West Midlands Evos Pre-85 machines with the added bonus of two races each on the Sunday for Over 50 twin-shock and Over 40 Evo legends. Not all the legends will be riding but will be there as VIP guests and available for interviews with maybe a parade around the famous start straight during Sunday’s interval.
