The film makers behind the great Fifty Years of Kicks has been hard at work on a new project – Checkpoints. It’s a feature-length motorcycle documentary filmed in Ontario, Canada, which sets out to look at living a life devoted to off-road riding.
They check in with five riders including Graham Jarvis and Colton Haaker and discuss living an off-road lifestyle.
The 40-minute documentary was funded by off-road devotees on Kickstarter, which has helped keep the film free for all fans to watch. I know that filming and editing a project of this size is a big undertaking, both in time and money. We should encourage more people to get involved in filming our much-loved sport – it helps to bring more people in and we all want that.
