With the Motocross of Nations taking place in just over five weeks at Ernee in France, the ACU Motocross Department are the latest national federation to confirm their full rider lineup for the event.
Following the selection of Shaun Simpson and Max Anstie at the end of June, Team Manager Neil Prince has now confirmed the final rider for Team GB will be Dean Wilson.
With the third rider now confirmed, the team will consist of Shaun Simpson who will contest the MXGP class on his Hitachi Construction Machinery REVO KTM machine. The current reigning British Champion and series leader will be in heading to the event in strong form following his recent GP victory at Lommel.
In the MX2 class Max Anstie will be competing on his Monster Energy DRT Kawasaki. Anstie currently leads the MX2 class in the British Championship and has recently been in great form at the GPs taking race wins at Germany and Czech along with overall victories at Latvia and Lommel.
Dean Wilson will be competing in the Open Class and has previous experience of competing in the event for Team GB. Wilson recently returned to racing in the AMA 450 Motocross series following a lengthy injury, since his return Wilson has posted some solid top-10 results including a fifth place finish in the second moto at Utah.
With a strong three rider line up Team GB under the guidance of Team Manager Neil Prince will be looking to secure a strong result at the event.
