The Reverend Jake Nicholls is back from injury and looking blazin’ fast at fabulous FatCat…
Now dressed in Shift clothing, Sidi boots and a Shoei helmet, at first glance it doesn’t particularly look like Jake Nicholls who is riding the #45 HM Plant Red Bull KTM UK machine during open practice at FatCat Motoparc but the hard-revving, super-aggressive style soon gives the game away. Returning from injury isn’t a new experience for Jake although this time he’s making sure he takes it steady and builds up to full strength before returning to top flight competition.
“I expect to be ready for the French GP in June,” says Jake. “I’ve been riding two or three times now and I’m building back up slowly. My general fitness is at a very good level but I’m just missing out on quality bike time.”
Riding at FatCat with new best mate Ben Townley, The Reverend puts in around 90 minutes riding throughout the day and is consistently fast for the full length of his back-to-back sessions.
