Benoit Paturel was expected to line up for Team Bud Racing this weekend for Paris Supercross. Sadly an injury has put paid to the Frenchman’s hopes of SX2 glory at the U-Arena.
The 2016 MXoN winner announced the news on social media. “Unfortunately, I will not be part of this weekend at the arena, I fell very hard this week in training, a point on which I had to work and make progress for the event,” wrote Paturel, who’s still without a deal for the 2018 world motocross championship.
“Fortunately, I’m getting out of here without fractures…I’m really disappointed but motivated more than ever to get out of this bad time.
“A big thank you to Team Bud Racing who gave me my arms for a few weeks, it allowed me to find the path of rolling, training and pleasure. Thank you all for your very touching messages.”
Hopefully, this isn’t too big of a setback and we see the talented Frenchman secure a deal for 2018 soon.
