Aussie pilot Daniel McCoy injured his wrist recently at an SX event in Queensland which left a bit of a hole in Apico Husqvarna’s plans for the upcoming UK Arenacross tour.

But it looks like Apico Husqvarna have wasted no time in finding a kick-ass replacement. DBR has learned through a number of sources that Apico Husqvarna have drafted in AMA legend Mike Brown as McCoy’s stand-in. The former British champion will team-up with EMX250 European Champion Steven Clarke.

No doubt McCoy will be bitterly disappointed after finishing runner-up to Arenacross Champion Fabien Izoird in 2014, DMC likely fancied his chances of going one better when the series kicks off on January 3 at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester.
