Wheeldon launch Arenacross Training Days.
Wheeldon, the UK’s only full-time indoor facility, will be running three Arenacross Training Days from January 4-6 on a modified track featuring bigger whoops, a larger table top and a specially constructed rhythm section.
“We’re delighted to offer our unique facility in order for the Arenacross competitors to train ahead of this exciting new series in the depths of winter,” explains Andrew Savery, co-owner of Wheeldon Off-Road Centre. “I think riders will be impressed with the set-up we have here – our circuit is perfect for their training and will enable them to prepare themselves and their bikes a week ahead of the start of the series.”
The Arenacross Training Days cost £40 per day per rider. A range of accommodation packages are available taking advantage of Wheeldon’s luxury self-catering facilities with cottages sleeping up to six, eight and 10 people available from £300. Riders planning to camp in their own vehicles can do so for £25 a night which includes the use of jetwash, showers and indoor heated pool.
