Marvin Musquin is out of Paris Supercross 2018 after suffering a knee injury ahead of the international supercross event.

The organisers have worked hard to draft in some quality last-minute replacements with Weston Peick and Justin Hill now set to line up at the famous annual European SX event.

It’s a bitter disappointment for Marvin who was looking forward to the prospect of being able to challenge world champion Jason Anderson on home soil.

The severity of the injury is not yet known and Marvin needs to consult his trusted doctor before he’ll know how much it will impact his program beyond Paris Supercross.

The official Suzuki team, Joe Gibbs Racing, stepped in and have allowed both of their riders to participate in Paris this weekend.

Organisers say that Weston Peick, King of Lille 2015, and Justin Hill, champion SX 250 2017, will jump on a plane in a few hours with luggage filled with factory parts and they will ride on brand new RM-Z 2019s made available by Suzuki France and the Amexio Team of Nicolas Aubin.

French fans will have plenty of home riders to support including RedBud MXoN winner Dylan Ferrandis, who arrived on the site earlier today and is ready to take up the torch.
