Justin Barcia has cancelled his Aus-X Open appearance with the Monster Energy Factory Yamaha rider putting it down to an unexplained “pressing issue”.
He wrote on his social media account: “With the fast approaching supercross season…I wanted to let all my Australian fans know in advance that unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the Sydney @sxopensupercross.
“I am really disappointed I wonāt be able to make it as I was really looking forward to it but a pressing issue has come up which will keep me from attending. Sorry to my Australian fans and thank you very much for the continued support. JB51”
Although the ever popular Bam Bam will be a miss in Sydney on November 9-10, Aussie fans can still look forward to watching former Supercross champion Ryan Villopoto, reigning Supercross champ Jason Anderson and homegrown hero (and multi-time Supercross champion) Chad Reed.
